Happy Father's Day (And A Quick Note)

You would think a blog titled Father Of The Family would have a significant post on Father's Day. But I'm going to enjoy the day with my family rather than writing, and if you're a dad, you should too (rather than reading this blog!)

But if you do decide to spend your well-deserved day reading, then more power to you. Best ten cent piece of advice I can give as a father to fathers: if you want to be a good dad, let your kids see you love your wife and mom well!

Here's a Father's Day Roundup of past posts on the subject of fatherhood I hope you will enjoy:

*To PF readers, a quick note: If you have signed up/subscribed to receive past posts by email, I had to switch to a new delivery system since Google is retiring Feedburner. It's called Feed.it, and you may have received yesterday's post this morning by email if you were a past subscriber and your email was imported. Please be sure to click the link in the email you receive (at the top, in green) to ensure you receive future posts by email. And if you haven't already and would like to, please enter your email in the "Get New Posts By Email" widget on the top right of the blog (NOTE: it only shows up on the web version for some  reason, so if you are viewing the blog on mobile please click 'view web version' at the bottom and do so from the web version on your computer.

Enjoy your well-deserved day! St. Joseph, pray for us!
